Projects

Community Health

The Africa region's acute lack of basic amenities such as health centres and personnel, sanitation facilities, and unsafe drinking water presents serious health challenges. These are further intensified by the high incidence of malaria and HIV/AIDS.

Sustainable Development

Beekeeping is a sustainable, environmentally friendly, organic and viable way for communties to earn extra income in the Africa. The Africa Region offers a huge, and mostly untapped, potential for honey production, and ADC-CAR has made this a prime area of targeted growth.

Natural Resource Management

The dense forests of the Africa region are a source of livelihood and resources for its residents. However, the over-use of forest products such as timber and wild crops, as well as harmful cultivation practices, specifically, slash and burn clearing, threatens the natural environment.

ONGOING projects

COVID-19 Prevention products / PPE

Having sufficient personal protective equipment is crucial for the emergency services personnel and health professionals on the frontlines of combating COVID-19, ADC-CAR is making excess PPE available to these responders, and we also stand ready to perform missions we may be called upon to fulfill in this ongoing fight.

Refugees / IDP Rehabilitation

A large part of our field activities are geared towards internally displaced people (IDPs) and refugees. With the number of people who have been forcibly displaced doubling over the last decade, their health needs continue to mount, and are not always met. Our roots were put down in the camps set up for Congolese and Republique centrafricaine refugees. ADC-CAR has a long history of assisting and protecting these populations.

Community Water Project

The Water Project is designed to bringing relief to communities around the region who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation.
